Carrot Fries

Ingredients:

2 carrots (per person)
Olive oil to coat
1/2 tsp Garlic powder (per person)
1/2 tsp onion powder (per person)
1/2 tsp pepper (per person)
1/2 tsp salt (per person)

Directions:

Turn your oven to 375F.

Cut carrots in the middle and into fries about 1/2″ thick, try to make them even so that they cook evenly.

Place on a cookie sheet or a pan big enough to spread them out. (I like to put mine in the roasting tray underneath a chicken — when the juice from the chicken sinks in, it’s delicious).

Next, drizzle just enough olive oil to coat the carrot fries. *Remember you can always add but you can’t take away. If you drizzle too much oil, you will have a messy oven.

Lastly, sprinkle the rest of the ingredients over the carrots and use your hands to coat them.

Place the tray in the oven and cook until browning, which is about 30-40 minutes. If cooking under a chicken, you will have to remove them before the chicken so prepare to do so.

Enjoy!
