Ingredients:
3 medium lemons
6 cups water
1/4 cup honey or agave
Directions:
Fill a medium sauce pan with 5 cups of water put it on the stove but wait to turn it on.
Next juice your lemons into a medium bowl and put the rinds into the sauce pan. Be sure to remove seeds from the bowl. Add 1 cup of water and put your bowl in the fridge.
Turn up the heat on your pan, once it starts to boil mix in the honey or agave. Then turn off the stove and cover the sauce pan. After 10 minutes uncover, press on the lemon rinds with your mixing spoon, then carefully remove the rinds, and skim the water for any seeds. Let cool then combine the lemon waters into your storage of choice, I used mason jars. If your lemonade is too strong/bitter add water to dilute it, and if you need a little added sweetness, I would suggest a stevia packet or add some organic sugar to your liking.
I did a couple different fun things with my lemonade. I made some popsicles, which my boyfriend loved, and I mixed some with tequila which was my personal fave. 🙂
